Azeri-speaking pilgrims visit Imam Reza Shrine on eve of martyrdom anniversary

The holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad welcomed a 400-member caravan of Azeri-speaking pilgrims from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan during the final days of Safar and on the eve of the Imam’s martyrdom anniversary.

Hawzah News Agency- Many members of the group, visiting the shrine for the first time, were warmly received by the shrine’s servants upon arrival. After performing pilgrimage rituals, the pilgrims gathered in the Dar al-Rahmah Portico to take part in special cultural and religious programs organized by the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs.

The programs included the recitation of Ziyarat Aminullah, explanations on the etiquette of pilgrimage, spiritual lectures, and eulogies highlighting the sufferings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Astan Quds Razavi presented the pilgrims with cultural mementos and blessed gifts as souvenirs of their spiritual journey.
